This Sanskrit name itself has religious overtone and a sort of emotional ring to it for the devout Hindus. The name is synthesis of two words – Mukti and Nath. Mukti means Salvation or Nirvana and Nathmean god or Master. Muktinath is a great site of pilgrimage for both Hindus & Buddhist. The holly temple lies in Muktinath Valley at an altitude of 3,710 meters at the foot of the Thorong –La (one of the most difficult mountain pass in Annapurna region ) Mustang district, Nepal. . Day 2: Drive to Jomsom. Overnight stay jomsom BLD
Day 3: Jomsom – Muktinath by Jeep (1.30 hrs) along the Kaligandaki Valley. After holy bath in Kunda, 108 Dhara Muktinath Evening leisure and drive back to ghasa by jeep, Overnight.
Day 4: Ghasa to pokhara. Overnight stay.
Day 5: Pokhara sight seen and after lunch drive to Kathmandu.
